

IMAGICA Technologies Corp. (ITC) is a division of IMAGICA Robot Holdings, Inc., one of the largest entertainment technology companies in Japan. ITC provides front and back-end digital imaging solutions for feature film with the Imager XE and HSX Film Scanners and the HSR Film Recorder. Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, ITC also maintains a sales and support office in Los Angeles, California.

| 1935 | "FAR EAST LABORATORY LIMITED (FEL)", the predecessor of IMAGICA Corporation, was established in Kyoto as the film development and processing company for Eastman Kodak films. Movie film laboratory equipment and photofinishing equipment and devices were internally developed by its technical personnel for FEL's own use. |
| 1942 | FEL renamed itself in Japanese as "Toyo Laboratory Corporation". |
| 1982 | "Toyo Links Corporation", a 100% owned subsidiary of FEL, was established as a CG production and hard and software development company. |
| 1985 | FEL played an important role using its latest technologies in production of movie films, video programs and photographs to be exhibited at the Tsukuba World Science Exposition held in Tsukuba City. |
| 1986 | FEL renamed itself "IMAGICA Corporation" both in English and Japanese. |
| 1990 | "Personal Links", a 3D computer graphics software system, was developed and launched. |
| 1992 | Paper "Primatte Algorithm" won the Nicograph Thesis Prize. |
| 1993 | IMAGICA USA INCORPORATED, a 100% owned subsidiary, was established in Los Angeles and started large-format film (70mm) optical effect service. |
| 1993 | Chroma-key software system "PrimatteR" was launched through Photron Ltd. (Japan and U.S. patents registered in 1994 and 2001) |
| 1995 | IMAGICA Digital Film Scanner "IMAGER3000VR" was launched to the worldwide digital effect production market. |
| 2001 | IMAGICA Color Management System "Galette?" was developed and launched, with Studio Ghibli, the creator/producer of the award-winning animation movie "Spirited Away" being the first user. |
| 2002 | IMAGICA's "65/35 Multi-Format Optical Printer" won the 74th Academy Scientific and Technical Award. |
| 2004 | "IMAGICA RecorderR", which converts digital data into film in real time, was developed and launched to the Digital Intermediate (DI) production market. |
| 2004 | "Jimakuya?", a software-based subtitle creation system for movies, was developed. |
| 2006 | Digital Film Recorder "IMAGER HSRR" was developed and launched. |
| 2006 | IMAGICA-Robot Holdings Inc. was established as the holding company of the entire IMAGICA Group. |
