IMAGICA Technologies and Digital Vision Present “DI Release, Archiving, and Restoration Workflow” at ACVL Spring Conference. 28-31 May in Mexico City.

 

IMAGICA Technologies Corp. and Digital Vision are pleased to announce their participation at the Association of Cinema and Video Laboratories (ACVL) Spring Conference.

The Conference will be held from May 28-31, 2008 at the El Presidente Hotel in Mexico City, Mexico.

Together with Digital Vision, IMAGICA Technologies will present an end-to-end workflow for film DI release, B&W archiving, and restoration utilizing the IMAGICA HSR Recorder technology and Digital Vision’s DVO toolset, including the new DVO Restore tools.

IMAGICA will present examples of 2K DI output, showing samples on film from their Imager HSR film recorder, and also discuss preparing Black & White separations for archival purposes.

Digital Vision will present their DVO tools for image clean-up, noise reduction, sharpening, recombining separations and film color grading. IMAGICA will be showcasing film out samples of the restored clips with before and after comparisons to illustrate the efficiency of these tools.
