Introduction of new sensor technology for our next generation scanner - HSX
IMAGER HSR is quickly becoming the new standard for film recording, enabling users to record 2K images at 3 frames per second onto color intermediate film stock. Since it began shipping in the summer of 2007, the IMAGER HSR has been put to use recording studio features, trailers, and independent and regional DI projects around the world.
The system is built based on pioneering imaging technology licensed from Eastman Kodak Company which incorporates an LED light source and LCOS imaging device. The system is also capable to record 6fps on B/W stocks for archives and it now supports command line operation too.
HSR 4K development is also in progress and we expect to have a working prototype by Q1 2009.
O-gi is our newly developed software solution. It is a plug-in package for the Autodesk IFFFS platforms with 5 different types of image quality augmenting filters.
Primatte is a world-class high-end chromakey technology. Already known in the industry for its ease of use and intuitive interface, with the recent release of Primatte's newer version, it has been enhanced, accelerated and made even easier to use.
Primatte comes bundled in several host applications and is also sold as an optional plug-in for numerous others. New additions to the Primatte product line include Primatte for Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion and Primatte for AVID AVX products.
HSX, our next generation scanner currently under development, will feature a custom designed CCD sensor at the heart of the system. The sensor and some sample images will be displayed at the booth.
